Dr. Said Farhat is a highly accomplished Senior Specialist Gastroenterologist with over 15 years of clinical and academic experience in the field of internal medicine and gastroenterology. He holds his Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from Kursk State Medical University in Russia and pursued advanced specialization in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at the University of Balamand in Lebanon. Dr. Said further refined his expertise through two Advanced Fellowships (AFSA) in Gastroenterology and Gastroenterological Malignancies at the prestigious Universities of Paris V and Paris VII in France.

Before joining Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Hospital in Dubai, Dr. Said built an impressive academic and clinical career at Saint George Hospital University Medical Center in Lebanon, where he served first as an Assistant Professor and later as an Associate Professor of Gastroenterology. Throughout his tenure, he played a key role in medical education, clinical research, and the management of complex gastrointestinal disorders, earning recognition for his commitment to both patient care and academic excellence.

Dr. Said’s clinical expertise spans the diagnosis and management of a broad spectrum of gastrointestinal and liver diseases. He has a particular interest in inflammatory bowel diseases (such as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), gastrointestinal malignancies, liver disorders, endoscopic procedures, and functional digestive disorders.
