Dr. Alaeddin Saghir is a highly experienced Endocrinologist with over 35 years of clinical practice in endocrinology, diabetology, and metabolic diseases. He earned his MD degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Aleppo University, Syria, in 1984, followed by his residency and fellowship in endocrinology at the University of Nice, France, where he also obtained the French Board in Endocrinology and Diabetology in 1988. In addition, he pursued advanced training in cancerology at the University of Marseille, France, further expanding his expertise in endocrine-related oncology.

Throughout his career, Dr. Saghir has worked across France, Syria, and the UAE, holding senior positions in both public and private healthcare institutions. He began his medical journey as an assistant physician in internal medicine and endocrinology in several French hospitals before returning to Syria, where he practiced as a consultant endocrinologist at Azizieh Center Clinic for more than two decades. In the UAE, he has served at NMC Hospital, Emirates Hospital, BR Medical Suites DHCC, and Emirates Specialty Hospital, before joining Dr. Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Center, Dubai in 2021, where he continues to practice as a part-time specialist.

Dr. Saghir’s areas of expertise include the management of diabetes, thyroid disorders, hormonal imbalances, obesity, metabolic syndromes, osteoporosis, and endocrine cancers.
